Aid for Rural Education Initiative (AREAi) has been selected as the Charity Organization for the Warwick Africa Summit’s Community Impact Initiative for the year 2024.
This partnership with the Warwick Africa Summit is driven by a shared commitment to bridging learning gaps and ensuring skills development for disadvantaged children and youth living amongst the marginalized groups across rural regions of Nigeria.
As a buildup campaign toward the Summit, the Community Impact Team of Warwick Africa and AREAi will collectively work towards creating a structure for a successful campaign that ultimately makes possible efforts towards more meaningful, positive and long-lasting contributions across communities, directly impacting the beneficiaries we serve.
This will be achieved by promoting AREAi’s vision and creating awareness about the impact of programs while organizing fundraising campaigns at the Warwick Africa Summit in support of AREAi core programs and Initiatives, particularly the Digital Skills Accelerator (DSA) for Women and Girls program, which is focused on equipping young women and girls with foundational knowledge in STEM and 21st Century Life Skills that prepare them for higher levels of learning and workplace readiness.
The goal of this partnership is to impact 1 million lives, with a special focus on vulnerable, out-of-school and refugee children and unskilled youth within the next decade through alternative learning that equips them for life and job opportunities.
