CALL FOR APPLICATION - FastTrack Innovation Scale (FIS) Fund

The FastTrack Innovation Scale Fund Accelerator (FIS-Fund Accelerator) represents a ground-breaking opportunity to transform foundational learning for marginalized learners in Nigeria and Africa at large. By fostering innovation, collaboration, and impact, the Accelerator will empower millions of children to unlock their full potential and break the cycle of educational disadvantage. Together, we can build a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

This initiative provides hands-on training in evidence-based practices and targeted funding to accelerate our mission of ensuring all children have equal access to quality education through foundational learning experiences.

Selected organizations will participate in a series of training workshops focused on components of the FastTrack Method; an accelerated foundational learning opportunities that provides participants with insights on how to apply these pedagogical practices in their organizations’ education programs.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Applicants: NGOs and nonprofit community-based organizations situated in Nigeria, with focus on advancing foundational learning / or early grade education.

Local Leadership: Organizations must demonstrate local leadership with the majority of the leadership team in the state of operations.

Operational History: Organizations must have a demonstrated track record of working in country of operation in sub-sahara Africa for a minimum of two years.

Impact: Organizations must demonstrate impact through at least one past project or program.

Due Diligence: Organizations must meet the following due diligence requirements during the application process.

 

Stage 1: Expression of Interest

  • Proof of registration in country of operation
  • Proof of NGO/nonprofit status (if different from above)
  • Most recent audited financial statements.

For shortlisted candidates who scale through Stage 1:

Stage 2: Main Proposal

  • List of current projects and funders
  • List of key staff and entity information
  • Organization’s child protection policy

 

Note: If your documents are in a language other than English, you must provide certified English translations and copies of the original documents.

Note: All participants in the FIS-Fund classroom visit are required to sign the AREAi Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
