FastTrack is an accelerated learning program designed to provide access to and improve the quality of literacy and numeracy instruction available for children and youth who are out-of-school and consequently missing out on quality learning opportunities in Northern Nigeria. This program is built around a bidimensional differentiated curriculum delivered within 18 months with emphasis on the development of fundamental literacy, numeracy, digital, entrepreneurial and vocational skills. Fast Track will train 700,000 out-of-school children between age 5-14 missing out of formal learning opportunities in northern marginalized communities.
The initiative is being delivered through intensive training by experienced facilitators, and it focuses on four significant phases, namely:
> Training Phase
> Enumeration, Pre-testing and Grouping Phase
> Learning Phase
> Post Testing and Support Phase
